Most SEO engagements deliver a document. The document says your site needs faster pages, unique titles and better internal linking — all true, all requiring engineering work the SEO consultant cannot do. Then it sits there.
We are a development company that does SEO, which means we implement what the audit found.
What we actually do
Technical foundation first. Whether each URL is independently indexable, has its own title, description and canonical, and returns a real status code. This is where most sites are broken, and no amount of content fixes it.
Structured data. One @graph per page with stable entity identifiers, so
Google resolves a single organisation across your whole site instead of treating
each page’s markup as a separate thing. Service, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb
markup where each genuinely applies.
Content architecture. Hub pages with long-tail spokes, deliberately linked so that the pages you want to rank accumulate the internal links that decide it. This is the part that actually moves rankings, and it is structural before it is editorial.
The honest version of what SEO can do
Nobody can guarantee a position. What can be guaranteed is that a page is crawlable, indexable, correctly marked up and internally linked — and that the remaining variable is content and competition rather than broken plumbing.
Timelines are real too. Technical fixes land in weeks. Ranking movement takes three to six months, because that is how long the index takes to reflect a changed site. Any agency promising faster is selling you something else.
Our own proof
We run iphoneduosupport.com, a technical site that ranks on Google. It is 67 indexable URLs built as a hub-and-spoke cluster: a 25-item checklist, 13 individually-ranked FAQ pages, six framework guides and a blog, all cross-linked. Every page carries its own structured data, generated social card and plain-text mirror for AI crawlers.
It is not a client case study we are quoting second-hand. We built it, we rank it, and the architecture on this page is the same one.
Competing where you can win
In Toronto alone there are well over a hundred agencies competing for terms like “app development company”. Ranking for that is not a realistic near-term goal for most businesses, and pursuing it burns budget.
Winnable terms are more specific and closer to a buying decision. Part of this work is telling you which queries are worth pursuing and which are not — see how we ranked a niche technical site.
