About us

Ingenious Techlab is a software development company based in Ontario, Canada. We build mobile apps, web platforms and custom software for startups and established businesses across Canada and the United States.

We ship our own software too

Alongside client work we build and publish our own products —Arrow Ark on the App Store, andiphoneduosupport.com, a technical reference site for adapting iOS apps to Apple's foldable.

This matters more than it sounds. Running our own store listings means the submission process, the privacy disclosures, the annual OS migration and the live-ops work are things we do for ourselves, not only things we advise clients about. When we tell you a store review will be a problem, it is because we have had that exact rejection.

How we work

We scope before we quote. A fixed number produced before anyone has asked what your app integrates with is a guess, and one of us ends up absorbing the difference.

We will also tell you when the answer is cheaper or smaller than what you asked for — when an existing product would do the job instead of custom software, when one platform is enough, or when the terms you want to rank for are not winnable in a sensible timeframe. Work we talk you out of is cheaper for both of us than work that disappoints.

You own what we build: source, repositories, and store and cloud accounts in your organisation's name rather than ours. Seewho owns the code.
