Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Ingenious Techlab INC handles information in Arrow Ark: Animal Puzzle, our free iOS puzzle game. It is written to match the current app: no accounts, on-device progress, Firebase diagnostics, and AdMob ads.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ingenious Techlab INC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play Arrow Ark: Animal Puzzle ("Arrow Ark" or the "App") on iOS.
It is written to match what the App actually does today: a free, ad-supported puzzle game with no user accounts. It is not legal advice. If we add sign-in, purchases, or new third-party services, we will update this page before those features ship.

3. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Arrow Ark iOS app (bundle identifier com.ingenious.arrowark) and this product page on ingenioustechlab.com. It does not cover other Ingenious Techlab client work, or third-party sites you reach by following a link.
4. Information we do not collect
Arrow Ark does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details through the App
- Precise or coarse location
- Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts
- Payment or purchase history (there are no in-app purchases)
- Push notification tokens (the App does not send push notifications)
- A cloud copy of your game progress
5. Information stored on your device
Your progress — completed levels, hearts, hints, daily streak, and settings such as sound, haptics, and theme — is saved as a local file on your iPhone. It is not synced to our servers. Uninstalling the App deletes it.
If you allow tracking (see section 7), Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) stays under Apple's control on the device and is read by our advertising partner. We do not store IDFA on our own servers.
6. Information collected by third parties
The App includes Google services. Those companies process data under their own policies, on our instructions, to operate analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, remote configuration, advertising, and consent:
- Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous gameplay events such as level start and finish, hints used, extra lives, which screen you are on, and whether an ad was shown. These events are tied to an installation identifier, not to your name.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — stack traces and device/app version when the App crashes, so we can fix bugs. Crash reports are not linked to a personal profile in the App.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring (Google) — traces of how long screens and network calls take, used to keep the App responsive.
- Firebase Remote Config (Google) — fetches configuration such as when ads start and whether an update is required. It is not used to profile you.
- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob — banner ads on the board after early levels, plus optional rewarded ads for an extra life, hint refills, and an occasional level-complete bonus. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising data (impressions, clicks), coarse location derived from IP, and diagnostic data, as described in Google's advertising policy.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — on devices that require it (typically the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), a consent form is shown before the first ad request. Your choice is stored so we do not ask every session.
7. App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, personalized advertising that uses the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) counts as "tracking" under Apple's rules. After you have played a few levels, Arrow Ark may ask: "Allow tracking to see ads that are relevant to you. Arrow Ark plays exactly the same either way."
If you tap Allow, AdMob may use IDFA to personalize and measure ads across apps and websites. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, or never see the prompt, the game still works. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
We treat Device ID and Advertising Data as used for third-party advertising and as used to track you when tracking is authorized, which matches our App Store privacy labels.
8. How information is used
We and our processors use the information above to:
- Operate the App (load levels, remember progress, apply remote configuration)
- Understand which puzzles, hints, and ads people use, so we can improve the game
- Find and fix crashes and performance problems
- Show ads and, if you allow tracking, make those ads more relevant
- Comply with law and enforce these terms
9. How long information is kept
Local progress stays on your device until you delete the App or reset it.
Google retains analytics, crash, performance, and advertising data for the periods in Google's documentation (typically weeks to months for analytics and crashes; advertising data follows Google's ads retention). We do not run our own user database for Arrow Ark.
Consent records needed to show that we asked for GDPR-style consent are kept as required to demonstrate compliance.
10. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data with the Google services listed above so the App can function, show ads, and be measured. Google may also use data as described in its own policies, including to provide advertising services to other apps.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the App or other players, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would still apply or you would be notified of a successor policy.
11. International transfers
We are in Canada. Google processes much of this data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may not have the same privacy laws as Canada or the EEA. Google participates in frameworks and uses contractual clauses that are meant to protect data moving across borders. By using the App, you understand that this processing happens.
12. Children's privacy
Arrow Ark is a casual puzzle game. The expected App Store age rating is 4+ because the game content is not mature; the rating also reflects third-party advertising. The App is not directed at children under 13, is not enrolled in Apple's Kids category, and is not a Made for Kids product.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete what we can control. Parents and guardians should use iOS Screen Time and Tracking settings if a child uses the device.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a regulator.
In Canada (PIPEDA), you can ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a correction. For Arrow Ark, we typically hold no identifiable profile on our own servers — most data is on your device or with Google.
In the EEA/UK (GDPR), you can withdraw consent in the App (Settings → Privacy options, when that button is shown) and in iOS Tracking settings. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
In California and similar US state laws, we do not sell personal information for money. Personalized advertising that uses an advertising identifier can be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out by refusing App Tracking, resetting the advertising identifier, or using the in-app privacy options where shown. Because we have no account system, we identify a request by the information you send us (for example, a screenshot of the consent screen and your approximate request date).
To exercise a right we actually control, email [email protected]. We may need to point you to Google's tools for data held only by Google.
14. Your choices in the App
You can:
- Decline tracking when iOS asks, or change it later in iOS Settings
- Open Settings inside Arrow Ark and tap Privacy options when Google UMP says a privacy choices entry point is required (typical for EEA users)
- Play the early levels with no ads — ads, including the consent form, start only after a threshold of completed levels
- Skip rewarded ads; they are optional (extra life, hint refill, bonus)
- Limit ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings
- Delete the App to remove local progress

16. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we change how Arrow Ark collects or uses information. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. For material changes we may also note them in an App Store version description.
